Numerous details come together to make this Eastbound & Down poster a hilarious hit. First off the tag, ”My Face. Your Ass. February 19.” glues the artwork together since Kenny Powers’ face is, in fact, directly above a young woman’s ass. The Eastbound & Down title wins for being the most inappropriately placed logo with an arrow that points directly to the butt crack. My only small issue is that there’s no scenario where a woman this attractive would ever tattoo Kenny’s face on her back, but that’s excusable since much of this show resides in Kenny’s delusional imagination. All in all, this eye catching poster wins for being fun, tonally perfect for the show and well executed.
